Mother Earth, 2021
From what I've learned about meditation, metaphysics, and psychology, I've found that we attract most of what happens in our lives by either believing at some level within ourselves that we deserve them or by having to learn certain lessons from it. This makes us the creators of our reality, therefore each one of us is Mother Earth. This mural is the representation of it. Composed of two walls, one shows Mother Earth as an abstract cloud painted on acrylics and blowing her energy forming the words "all I can say is that my life is pretty plain", which is a famous quote from "No Rain" by Blind Melon, one of my favorite songs. The second wall is a chalkboard to add temporary inspirational quotes and some of my daily affirmations.

This was a commissioned mural painted on acrylics.
Calming Certainty, 2014
In the guided chakra meditation that I learned back in Mexico, we use "blue certainty", which is a navy or dark blue, as a way to enclose our aura so we can trust in our own judgement. We also use "blue enthusiasm", a light blue or turquoise, for the 5th chakra to remove communication barriers and feel joyful. Is well known that Dandelions are often used to make a wish come true. Therefore, I called this mural Calming Certainty, where her silhouette is painted in pointillism to depict her aura wishing for what she knows with calming certainty she will make herself come true.
